Sam Pearson
Sam has unique corporate finance and structuring experience in-house and in an advisory capacity within the African continent
Until 2019 Sam worked as an Executive Vice President in Standard Bank’s corporate finance advisory business and led some of the Bank’s largest advisory transactions at the time. Amongst other transactions, Sam advised AB InBev on Africa matters on their USD109bn takeover of SABMiller.
Based in Cape Town, South Africa and fully integrated in the investment banking and finance industry.
Sam is a CFA charter holder, holds a Masters degree in financial research from the University of Cambridge and a first class Honours degree from the University of Cape Town with majors in economics, finance and accounting. Keen sportsperson and previously rowed at an international level as well as for Cambridge University Boat Club.

Peter Campbell
Peter has deep experience across multiple sectors in both operational and corporate finance.
Through the early part of his career, Peter worked on numerous BEE structuring transactions in the mining and resource industries.
Peter was part of a small, focused team advising BHP Billiton on its divestment of multiple Southern African subsidiaries.
Subsequently, Peter has been growing Z-Filter, a climate tech dewatering business from its infancy in Australia to its expansion into North America.
Based in New York with a strong trans-continental network.
